A Penny Farthing Bike for Lisa
I made this 12 x12 shadow box layout for a wonderful friend named Lisa. I found this decorative Penny Farthing in an antique shop and knew it would be perfect for a shadow box for Lisa who loves and collects Antiques. I created the shadow box out of heave chip board. Trim it with card stock that I added a lace look with a punch. I used Graphic 45 paper for the background. I added die-cut flourishes and frame along with film strip, lace rosette flower which I placed a beautiful broach on given to me from Tricia (Alittleshabbychic on Youtube). I found a picture of a family gathering with Penny Farthings in the back ground, just a what this layout needed. Check out my youtube channel to see more of this shadow box, along with a look at the beautiful gifts I received from Lisa. Also check out her channel as well please.

Peek-A-Boo
This adorable Peek-A-Boo canvas was fun to create. I started with a 9 x 12 canvas that I cut an opening in to place the photo behind to peek through. I added texture with a piece of lace I put down with Gesso. I also added texture with a Daisy mask and more Gesso. I wanted a bit more color to the canvas so I took paint to match and did a splatter paint technique on it. I painted and Gessoed a small picket fence, added flowers, tags, diecut butterflies, and letters to complete this canvas. Please check out my Youtube channel to see how I put together this fun Canvas. Thanks for Peeking in on my blog. Hugs, Laurie

My Sweet Little Butterfly
This sweet canvas was inspired by this picture of my Grandson. I started with a 9 x 12 canvas and added diecut butterflies and lace dollies to the back ground. I use the Tenseconds Studio cooper sheet I carry in my Artfire online store under the tag to show through the cutouts of the letters. I took copper wire and bent and twisted around and added copper dragonflies I punched out of the copper sheet to add a whimsical element to this canvas. Buy the copper sheets in my store and check out my video on youtube for more details of this canvas. Have a great day. Laurie
