Christmas Under Glass
Hi Everyone,
Here it is October and I’m making Christmas stuff, well there’s a reason for this. I’m working on items to sale in a Holiday Craft Bazaar I’m doing with my friend Melissa. I picked up these tiny Christmas trees at Micheal’s Crafts and decided to make a winter scene under glass. First I took the tree and a brush with white craft paint on it and brushed the tree to look like snow on the brunches. I added a bead cap with a pearl in the center to the top of the tiny tree for a look of a star. Then took the crystal glass candle stick holder that I bought at a thrift store and placed a small circle of chipboard in the bottom of it. Then glued the tiny tree to the chipboard. I used Beacon’s 3-in-1 craft glue for gluing everything down. I then added white iridescent grass round the tree as to give it a look of floating on a cloud. Drop in a few pearls on the grass and then added the glass dome top. I took a rub-on word and added it to the dome at the front. To the top of the dome I added a shear ribbon bow, a feather and a metal snow flake.
You can check this and other projects I have done on my YouTube channel, (link on the side).
Hugs, Laurie
